I'm a 19 year-old fbb who just competed in my first show this past October. I'm hooked now and want to do another show in July of '09. I was referred here by Scott and am glad that he told me about this site. I hope to make new positive connections as well as to learn because this journey is a never-ending learning experience. I would also like to take the opportunity to apply for a sponsorship, since I could really use one.

You all are very inspiring and I look forward to posting in the forums :-)

I got an e-mail from a friend of mine suggesting we use some business' gift cards NOW if you have them. It also warned of purchasing gift cards from those that plan to close after the first of the year, hinting they would sell them through the Holidays with no plans of honoring them in 2009.

OMG.. of all the STUPID things to do.... I wonder if it is a Wednesday thing.. or a lack of Ginko thing.. can't blame it on a lack of Carbs thing....

So I put my chicken on to cook. Did really well with pan batch #1.. very attentive, turned it over, admired the golden look.

started batch #2.. flipped the chicken and thought, "I'll just respond to a few posts"... I smelled that SMELL... you know the one.. doctor everythings NOT gunna be alright.... cutt off the burnt (yeah.. no mistaken the BLACK, CHARRED look) or the smoke in the house.. OMG...

so I put in the last of the chicken.. turned the skillet onto LO and went back to reading posts...

Team TotalPackage will be representing in opposite sides of the country this weekend before Thanksgiving. In Atlanta, GA., Shannon will be on stage at the NPC Figure Nationals in only her second Figure contest ever. 5 time zones to the west and approxiamately 4500 miles, Jody a 20 year old college student will be competing in the Open Division at the NPC ParadiseCup in Honolulu, HI. I want to wish both of them the best as they've already WON before they hit the stage, regardless of where the judges place them as they've overcome, persevered and triumphed in their journey to be the best they can be.
